transcosmos Korea, Inc. (Headquarters: Seoul, South Korea; President and COO: Takashi Sube; hereafter, transcosmos Korea), a subsidiary of transcosmos inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and COO: Masataka Okuda; TSE First Section: 9715; hereafter, transcosmos) which primarily provides call center services in South Korea, will open the “Cecile Online Shop” E-Commerce site for the “Cecile” mail order brand in the Korean market on September 6 in cooperation with Dinos Cecile Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; hereafter, Dinos Cecile). transcosmos Korea will provide one-stop E-Commerce services ranging from the launch to operation of the website.

At this time Dinos Cecile will begin an E-Commerce business as a Japanese company in Korea with the “Cecile Online Shop” selling products including women’s underwear and stockings employing the services of transcosmos Korea with its wealth of experience in the outsourcing business in Korea as a management entity.
On this site, “Cecile” has selected a product lineup suitable for the Korean market centered on products it sells in Japan. Particularly when the site is first opened, it will focus on functional women’s underwear with high added value, but plans call for continuing to expand the products being offered. Currently, the scale of the Korean E-Commerce market is approximately 36 trillion won (about 3.24 trillion Japanese yen), and since it is also a promising market where further growth is expected at a level of 10% per year in the future (*1), Dinos Cecile has now decided to develop a full-fledged E-Commerce business while also taking advantage of its experience in Korean TV shopping, where it has already made an entry.

In addition, transcosmos Korea will handle general business operations for the “Cecile Online Shop” at one stop, ranging from the construction and operation of this E-Commerce site to functions such as marketing to attract customers, customer support and order acceptance at call centers, and fulfillment operations including purchasing, inventory control and delivery. Taking advantage of its track record in the call center, direct marketing, field service and digital marketing businesses, which it has achieved as the number one independent outsourcer in Korea, transcosmos Korea will help to increase sales and promote operational efficiency for this site.

The “Cecile Online Shop” is aiming for sales of 10 billion won (about 900 million yen) three years from now in fiscal year 2016.
